  • The plugin is fully rewritten and optimized.
  • Added an API for work with other plugins.
  • Added a built-in "amx_nick" command that can be used to change player names. Aliases: "amx_nick", "nnc_name" and "nnc_nick". Its purpose is to overwrite the original command from AMXX so it can work properly without needing to edit it.
  • Added a cvar "nnc_show_message" that controls whether a message will show in chat when a player is denied name change.
  • Added a cvar "nnc_dead_immediate" that can make name change for dead players take effect immediately instead of when the player spawn.
  • Cvar changes now take effect immediately instead of on the next map.
  • The ReAPI version has been canceled since it only makes future updates more complicated without any real benefit.

there is a possible bug in this plugin. when the person changes name , his name appear in TAB list but when he types shows old nickname still. so he can change name but when he writes appears old name still.

This is done on purpose. Changing a players local settings without the permission is not supported here. In some cases, it's actually better to have the behavior that you describe.

There is nothing to fix. It is designed this way on purpose.

so remove plugin all works the way i want?

what are you saying ? you dont even understand what i am trying to say.

when you change name , it changes after the next spawn. this plugin prevents nick spam changes and it helps but when person change nickname , then it must change nick on request.

if the nick was changed and appeared in the TAB , why does it not reflect the change shown in the chat, it shows old nick still.

i dont know why you even replying here when you not sure what i am saying.

let the author say now.

I am using chatmanager and this plugin.

You're right, I think I did misunderstand you.
