Any progress on the new version, sfPlayer? I'd really like to resume using this and IRCRelay, but its not worth the crashes >_<

I've rebased the extension on top of boost::asio and other boost libraries which should prevent some issues with the current version.

Connect, Send, Listen and receiving are already implemented for TCP, the Bind-implementation is currently limited to Listen.

The backend is mostly completed, I think a testable version could be available in a few days if nothing breaks.

Version 3 alpha (linux only atm)

This is a preview for the rewritten upcoming version.

The API is compatible with previous versions and this version is supposed to be much more stable than version 2.4.

known drawbacks:
- it'll spam lots of debugging info to the console.
- SocketSetOption is currently not implemented
- Bind() only works for Listen()

Hey, are there any confirmed memory leaks in 2.4.0? I've been getting up to 1000mb with srcds Not sure where is coming from.

Thanks

Just loading the extension on a linux srcds adds 200mb to srcds to about 690mb total. Running an actual plugin with it sends it quickly up to 1000mb+!

My competition plugin (WarMod) relies on this extension for one of its features. I'd love to be able to use this if it was stable!

It should be fixed in the latest version and the latest preview version. The one attached to the main topic is not the most recent one.
