I found a BUG on 1.7x1 BETA (linux):

the file: serverplugin_ptbx.vdf

was :

"Plugin"
{
        "file"  "serverplugin_ptbx"
}

but it did not work - so i change it to :

"Plugin"
{
        "file"  "../cstrike/addons/serverplugin_ptbx"
}

and now it works for me - hmm.... test it yourself ! cya

Did you follow the instructions???
Copy 'serverplugin_ptbx_i486.so' to the "$HL2DS/bin/" folder.

did install like all other plugins (mani,ss,...) so sorry - but this works fine

perhap you can do this like the others into addons, too.

Oh yeah forgot to metnion while testing we tested on Redhat 9 with following plugins :

Mani
Beetle
Soundsource (this would crash randomely twice a day or so, server stable since this was taken off)

Hello there, i tested it and it works great, so far!

But I want to make it "switchable" so that an admin could just enable it from the mani-menu (perhaps shortly before he leaves the server).

Which commands do I have to use, to shut it off, without deleting the installed files? And how could I integrate the commands into the mani-admin-mod-menu (perhaps the rcon-command-list)?

you can make another ptb config file, this one with all the commands to off, and put two commands in mani's rcon exec menu one exec'ing the original ptb.cfg and one exec'ing the new ptb the cfg, so this way they can exec whihc ever one is needed.
