#1

I am proud to announce the Grand Opening of the DoD Plugins Community. This community is dedicated to creating Real Working plugins for admins and fun seekers alike. It will allow users to interact directly and quickly with the developers of DoD Plugins, thus allowing the Developers to quickly fix bugs and get Quality DoD Plugins out to the Community. At the moment we have only a few developers and testers but we are always interested in new blood. I also hope to see other Communities start up to help in the development of Mod Specific plugins. So without further aido, here is the link:

www.dodplugins.net

So please come join us, as a Community we can make DoD Better for All!
Cheers!

i think the whole plugins section here is filled with CS plugins and the
few DoD plugins that are available totaly get drowned by the mass
of that Counter-Strike stuff, so i think a small forum with a lot of
Day of Defeat plugins will make it much easier for a lot of people
that are looking for DoD specific plugins.
and that way we can post alpha and beta versions as well as finished and
bugfree plugins to get feedback and bug reports.
i personally don't like it very much to make a plugin and then the thread is
full with feature requests, that can all be done in the alpha and beta
stages of the plugins, so the final plugin has all features that were requested,
is bugfree as possible and the thread stays clean.

you don't have to register, you can get everything that a registered member
can get (like here), but if you are an admin of a amxx 0.20 dod server
and would like to add bug reports or request features and stuff,
i think it's no problem to register to another forum.

but that's only interesting for the DoD people, like i said, so we all know
that CS, TFC, TS, HLDM......... people won't register or even bother
to look at it

But sadly i get this error when im trying to acctivate my account:
Quote:
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'blackwatch.phpbb_config' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM phpbb_config

Line : 206
File : C:\inetpub\blackwatch\dodplugins\common.php
Edit1:
Found the error: You have to change the address to your server somewhere, it was the old address in the mail i got. If i changed it to

it worked =)

Edit3:

I really think there should just be another section added to these forums for DOD, because I think it's definitely! overkill to have 2 different sites.

People are going to come here and be like "where are the dod plugins" and they aren't going to know to go to your site, their just going to think that dod isn't supported as much as CS.

that website is an additional service, i will post all my
DoD plugins here as well once they are finished and bug free.

i haven't posted any of the current ones i posted on the dod site because they're alpha and beta status and wouldn't get approved yet.

that site isn't a replacement, it's an addition for people that are just hunting
for DoD plugins and are willing to test pre-release versions

As well any plugins that are deemed as dependable and good for the DoD Community will be placed in DoDx releases by SidLuke. This helps him at getting the plugins he needs, while he can concentrate on the Module as a whole. This is one reason. As well I found that a colaborative effort on a plugin is better. If I have some plugins that I started and just never got finished, I post them in the testing area, and tell other developers to try to finish them, if they got time, that I dont, they finish em up. If they dont I'll get to it. Same goes for their stuff. Here I have to post A COMPLETED plugin, one ready for production servers. And I don't always have time to do perfect testing on them. So, hence the following:

Cheers!
