[L4d2] How to install plugins on l4d2?

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I own my own l4d2 dedicated server, All i want to know is how to install plugins, i got sourcemod and metamod, it all works. I want to be able to get object spawner and tankbuster in.

place the smx files in left4dead/addons/sourcemod/plugins

Ya but when i test them ingame, they dont work.

Make sure the plugins are loaded. Easiest way to check is to use "sm plugins list" in console.

Umm i did that but no plugins show up even though i have alot of them installed.

plus i try to cvar them, it says command does not exsist.

Sounds like sourcemod isnt running. Double check that both sourcemod and metamod are installed correctly.

You wrote, it all works, but no plugin shows up after entering "sm plugins list". So how can you say it´s working ??
Add the servers IP in HLSW and look if it shows you MM / SM details on the "admin" tab. Type "meta version" and "sm version" in the rcon to see whether it has really been installed successfully or not.
