That would probably be way too much work unless it's a single height everywhere. Also, this can easily be removed, with or without a plugin.

Anyone can do it, as long as the map isn't protected already.
once a map is protected there is no way to edit it, in fact, there is no way to use it without your permissions.
What are you talking about? Maps can't be "protected" because they have to be read by both the server and the client, both of which can't do any type of encryption. Also, there are some parts of a map that can be edited after a map is created even without decompiling it and it doesn't even require people to re-download it.

I'm not really talking about something that I didn't do before, also what you said is not right at all.
Yes, the map needs to be read by both the server and the client, but there is still a way to prevent people from using a map that you own by doing something to the map, which I keep for myself.
once that thing is done, the map can't be decompiled, opened by viewers or played by anyone else other than the map owner.
an example of a protected map, you won't be able to play it or even decompile it: https://www.mediafire.com/file/cqb3i...eborn.rar/file

Remove that gosh darned link and use something without malware, redirects and popups like mediafire, dropbox, onedrive or google drive.

Well there are many possibilities I have in mind and just one of them could be the method. Otherwise, I do not know whether your file is fake or not.

Spawn would be enough. this would at least give some headache for those who don't know how to code or edit maps.

As for the thread creator, if you are interested in such a plugin, feel free to pm me.

Really don't think you know what you're talking about. Ran the map and it took me less than 2 minutes to create spawn points to make this map playable. There's no secret to accessing these maps and they're not hard to play on, with/without the original host or such. What fysiks said still stands.

Edit: Actually took a minute and 24 seconds

Also a PM isn't required. You can use this plugin to remove the entities that are making the map "protected" https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=74680 OR there is a plugin around here that you can edit to do the same exact thing and "require" that plugin to be used, although any user can do the same.

Edit: Got bored and felt like I should address this. Map can be easily decompiled and recompiled. You would have to delete a few entities and add a few info_player_starts as well as the opposing. Recompile and the map is functional, with spawn points.

Edit 2: Used BSP2Map to decompile the map.
PHP Code:
BSPTwoMap v1.4b (Jan  4 2004by Skyler 'Zipster' York

With code written by Sean
'Zoner' Cavanaugh and Valve Software

Decompiling BSP file C
:\Users\levin\Desktop\zm_lgk_labtest_reborn...

Processing model 0 ()...done

Extracting included textures
...done

-----   END   BSPTwoMap -----
