I have seen a number of SM plugins on here and was just looking for some recommendations for a good comprehensive anti-cheat available.

I second that, but if you're running Linux server you might get trouble
with the just released 4.00 version of SB as you'd need at least
glibc 2.4 to run the server plugin

I installed KAC 1.1.8 Simple,which hasent caused any issue's.

My server is a VAC server , is there anything else I could do to simply add to the security ?

I will check out steambans , and see what I would have to do to install it.

sv_pure 1? + pure_server_whitelist if you need some allowed.
sv_consistency 1 ?

I am using sv_pure 1, I am not sure what to do with the whitelist.

We have custom maps and I would like player sprays & HUDS. How would I go about this?

Look to http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Pure_Servers for how to work with whitelist. You can edit it that it block wall skins, no smoke skin and allow other wapens, sound and what you like.

VAC, KAC (sourcemod), VBAC (sourcemod), detox and steambans blockt cheaters. Ther are more anti cheat schrips on eventscrip.

I run on my server VAC, KAC, VBAC and steambans. It's block manny cheaters....

very cool TY, I am running VAC,KAC,VBAC, & looking into Steam bans & Vac status checker.


3 whitelist questions,

If I didnt want to allow something like player skins do I just delete that line?

Do I need to have a reference in the server.cfg pointing to the whitelist when I go sv_pure "1" again?

How does consistency "1" work into all this?
