I tried that and if the player doesn't select a skin within .5 seconds he is spawned into a counter-strike limbo where he can't do anything...thats why I'm looking for somekind of other check to see when they select a skin

I have an edited version of checkpoint beta something or other that only spawns them after they choose a team. it will always spawn them from what i have tested. I could give you the whole code and you could chop it up so you only have the respawn.
