I noticed that on small resolutions or servers with 20+ players automatically disable the avatars temporarily to fit all of the players on the screen.
I see that neither of those are the case in this situation, so I can't provide any more helpful information.

I Have 1280x720 (Widescreen) and I ever have the same view of scoreboard ...

That happens to me too. I am just happy that I wont see the avatars. They fill up the screen and is actually pretty useless.

Don't use this res, use a bigger res or run with 4 aspect ratio in window mode. It's happen to me too, so i decide to use window mode 1024x768. My LCD is 21' widescreen, i dont like play cs in wide screen.

I can only play cs in 800x600. If it is higher it looks weird and the crosshair gets too big

the same here but i have 1680*1050

i use 1280x1024 and avatars are there

first time i was complaining about them and that they are useless.
but yet i think its a good feature because u may see players u know and players
who does crap and comes back with other nicks, so u may recognize them better
and may punish them if needed.
