Having a cvar would not worth a loosed performance even if pcvar used.
That option is optimal and i do not recommend to change it since it potentially could mess a whole idea.

You can make a command which acts as a CVAR but control a global script var instead of macro definition. In such a case there is no performance degrade at all.

Admin should put this command into amx.cfg to be applied each map restart.

True, that's what i've done for Real Nade Drops (older version used PlayerPreThink). I think i'll add this.

the sound it's part of Half-Life.u don't need wav.files

The sound is not a part of half-life but cs, so if you want this plugin work on other mods than cs & cz, you have to put the sound in $mod/sound/ambience/

I'm sorry for digging this up, but can the sound be stopped after the scream? The 'thud' at the end just doesn't fit in there
