I have done a clean install of a CSGO server and Sourcemod/Metamod on Ubuntu 22.04 and when I use "sm version" to validate the install from the server command line I get "Unknown command "sm"" I did the same install on windows and this does not happen. I am open to any ideas and suggestions, thanks.

Refer to these instructions.

In case they disappear in the future:
  • Delete bin/libstdc++.so.6 and bin/libgcc_s.so.1 relative to the game installation, if they exist.
  • Run apt install gcc-multilib to ensure 32-bit libraries are installed.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond but I can confirm that I am using the correct SM and MM version based on the OS.
