If you know how to make gamedata for other games please let me know or submit a PR to github above, this is a better solution than my plugin but it currently only supports CSGO.

Thx for the info, Does this have the same problems as before? for example that sm_unban can not be used or when the server is reset all bans are deleted. Thanks

I am using this without any problems on my servers.

Just to be clear, this is normal in SRCDS, in any game.

When you use SRCDS ban system:

exec banned_user.cfg // load bans in memory
banid 5 STEAM_0:1:1 1  // temporary ban and kick player if in server
banid 0 STEAM_0:1:2  // add permament ban without kick

listid

writeid // save permament bans from memory into banned_user.cfg

SRCDS keep active bans in memory, if server restart, memory get clear and bans disappear.
Use exec banned_user.cfg first, to load permament bans in memory.
To save current permament bans (listid) in banned_user.cfg use writeid.
Temporary bans not save anywere, for this you need plugin.
