I've checked the GCF files from the preloads. They do contain both the client and server DLLs. The game is done (of course I'm sure they must be some bugs, what software doesn't?). I know how skeptical you might be after the delays and such, but it's coming and it's coming soon. It's aready gone gold and CDs and DVDs are being made and shipped to stores for the release on the 16th.

i heard something that australia is gonna ban this game cuz violence and whatnot, and that valve was gonna change some stuff so that the blood can be taken out by an option. if this is true that might slow down teh release?

There is no special edited version of HL2 for the german market. They only translated it (ugh) but left the content the same. The game will be rated USK18, though, so you can only get it when you are older than 18. In theory. *sigh*

The good thing is that you can also play it in English if you prefer that, as the english voices and text will be available to german buyers, too.
