AL SALAM ALYKOM (Peace be upon) is a greeting that means I give you peace and I do not want to HURT you, to feel safe and reassuring, most people use it is us (TheMuslims) ,In the end, I did not insult you and did not speak to you in an inappropriate way. What I did was put you in peace to feel safe in order to speak with you safely
