Hello, can you see the difference between the spectator and the idle team in l4d2? both of these place the player nickname at the spectator and I want to edit the attached plugin that isn't fully compatible with l4d2, it makes the admin in the spectator team invisible but when admin goes idle in the survivor team it glitches out and renames him to IDLE: unconnected instead of the normal IDLE: *nickname*

I tried to add few if idle team checks but no idea if i'm doing something wrong or you just can't different these 2 teams

I've not played l4d2, is the "idle team" built into the game itself or is it a separate sourcemod plugin?

It is built in, it replaces you with a bot and just places your nickname over the bot moving you to the spectators

Have you checked the netprop list for the player object in L4D2? I want to say it has a boolean netprop for whether they're currently replaced with a bot.
