In server.cfg I have:

tv_enable "1" tv_autorecord "1"

I noticed this creates 2 demo files 1 of the server before anyone joins and 1 of the actual gameplay. Any ideas on how I can get rid/disable the demo of the empty server?

Won't that make it so it doesn't record the match?

My issue is it making a demo of the server when it launches then making another demo when players join.

That's just how the cvar work.

Yes but only on the first map load after you started the server. After that GOTV will start recording to a single file once the map is loaded, even if the server is empty.

We use a plugin to fix the error with autorecord, believing that the match is over, and separating the demo's apart in weird spots.

Thank you! read through the thread and now I got it to only record 1 demo instead of 2.
