Why is this on by default? How do I make it off by default?

Also how come the chat messages get printed 4 or 5 times in a row? And lastly, if I use more than one sound for an event, they all get played at the same time, is it supposed to be that way or is it supposed pick a random sound for that event? I'm using this with l4d.

Please, help, it doesnt load on my Counter Strike Source. I have latest Sourcemod version and latest metamod version. I dont know how to see error logs.

Is this still working for someone?

I get:
L 06/17/2021 - 11:482: [SM] Unable to load plugin "event_sounds.smx": Native "BfWriteByte" was not found

on starting CS:GO server and plugin fails to load.

OK, I found version 1.4 now, which works.

Now I'm trying to play a sound, when a certain player knifes someone (one of our mates, who is a knife-lover ;-p ).

playerid seems to be the internal number, sm uses - is that correct?
So this is not useful for my config.

Other option that came to mind:
He uses a knife with a nametag - maybe that name can be used.

Does anyone know, what "weapon_itemid" & "weapon_fauxitemid" from the player_death event are and if one of them bears the name-tag name?
