As for the permissions not staying, it would seem like the FTP Server Software or the Operating System on the Machine was too busy to take care of it by then, or it was a FileSystem problem.

as soon as I ban someone my game crashes (not the server) and everybody loses connection to the server.
The database is set to localhost and I didn't change any other settings.

The mysql server is running on the same machine as the gameserver? If that's not the case, type your mysql-servers' ip address in the "host" space in your databases.cfg. any errors in your sourcebans.log?

I've installed SourceBans both on the server and web interface

My servers are not connecting and there are no error logs. The database is all set up and the correct info is set on the server.

I have other databases setup and they connect correctly.

From what I read - Downgrading fixed this? Let me know, Thanks

hello,
i have a problem with installation.
I am stuck with step 4 (Table Creation)
This is what i get:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '0', `srv_group` varchar(128) default NULL, `srv_flags` varchar(64) default' at line 4

After some googling, i figured out it is because of setting

default ''

(empty string) in tables sb_admins and sb_bans in struc.sql.

Mysql version 5.0.88, php 5.2.9
Any help appreciated, thanks.
