[L4D][REQ] MOTD Audio Media Player

I have searched high and low... L4D does not seem to support embeding Any sort of media player that requires a plugin i.e. ActiveX or such... into the MOTD.. The BGSOUND works, but doesn't give the user any options to stop or play or pause. Also, if anyone knows.. If I could only somehow force the motd to NOT load when you hit the OK button... I could do it myself.. Is there any way to disable this? For example, the MOTD loads, then when the player hits the OK button, the MOTD Loads again... or at least the embedded BGSOUND does... This is terrible...

I found some cool plugins that dont work.. Like Radio... Really cool.. But when I launched it, the same problem occured as when I embedded my own media player into the motd... the controls don't show... There is no way to play or stop or pause... I suspect that this plug-in did work at some time, and is now just not functional due to Steam changes...

I am in serious need of some DETAILED help, as I am not greatly familiar with the functionality of how the motd works or how to fix this...

Just need a L4d Music player with maybe the option to (next track, stop, play, previous track) Something like that

Motd not working for me. I tried to remove whole addons folder but it still doesnt work. I thought it has something to do with last patch, but friend of mine running 1014 server and its working.

Well, I have solved my problem, and it was actually pretty easy, and I have no idea why I didn't think of it earlier. If anyone is interested in doing the same thing, this is all I did:

Installed radio plugin: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...ighlight=radio

Edited the cfg/sourcemod/radiostations.ini file and added my own html files:

so for each song in the list I Just used a different motd.html...
motd1.html
motd2.html etc... motd.html is default with no music...

and for each motd I just changed the background music for the html page..

Works Like a SWEET charm, and I am delighted to be using the radio plugin now

Unfortunately I just cannot bring myself to listing each mp3 individually. Until I can get a playlist or internet stream working via HTML without a required media player, I will leave radio out of my server.

Then I believe your server will Never Have Radio......

But, whatever... not really a big deal... Some people love it, some people hate it... I just like having the option there....

I've done without it this long, and my server is still ranked in the top 40 by valve, so it doesn't bother me.
