• kac_version - Version of KAC. (No edit)
• kac_block_cafe - Blocks Cafe Accounts from entering the server.
• kac_block_multibyte_names - Blocks people from using multibyte characters in their name. (Unicode)
  
• kac_block_namecopy - Block people from copying another's name. ( 1 (on) or 0 (off) )
• kac_irc_channel - Optional IRC channel to announce KAC actions. Requires IRC Relay for use. (String)

your choice to use his banlist is NOT there anymore, you either use it, or don't use the plug in.

Took kac_use_banlist 0 out of my server.cfg & waiting for a cheater to see if it bans anyone properly now. Have installed VBAC as well now in case. Will continue testing or just remove it later.

Are there any special install instructions or cfg's need setting for the Sockets addon. I have just added it as I downloaded it.

for some reason snail, 1.13 isnt banning correctly, it is detecting hacks, then saying it is banning, but not actually banning, no need with old copy, or current if you are in agreeance at not wanting to use their banlist.

you could vary easily edit his current version to stop it from useing his banlist, isnt that hard

hi i just try 2 load this plugin again but the same thing happens.....

first its run fine but in time the server just lock it selv i cant use rcon command cant change map cant do anything the server is just lock

peopel where is not on the server get kick of the server whit the message

then i close my server down and put this plugin off again the server run fine where is somthing wrong thit this plugin

need more details and log entries to determine your issue with the plugin. i have 7 CSS servers running this and 1 TF2 server, all of which have not one issue with the plugin.

where is no log or nothing then this happens :s where is no erroes so dont know why and what happens but it is every time i load this plugin have try 2 unload all plugins

run sourcebans and sourcemod and this plugin. on the server

but that socket exstention do you use ?? 2 you servers :s

try using console on the server so when it locks up it shows you everything that happened. by console i mean the root server console not HLSW.

with the latest sockets ext (might be the beta one that kigen wanted me to upload and use to get debug log entries,but needless to say it is the newer one.)

now as far as finding errors you should go look in your addons/sourcemod/logs/ directory and look for a KAC.log, errors.log and see if something is getting put there concerning sockets or the plugin itself.

NOTE: if your servers are behind a firewall then you could find that sockets will give you problems as it might be blocked and cannot connect. as this has also been a problem for people using sourcebans in the past with the cannot connect to sql errors and what not.

i just want to say that if you (not directed at you Smofly, but anyone that has issues) are a server admin/tech that you should trouble shoot the problems and have explicit details as to what is going on with your server before claiming a plugin is faulty.

as for Grimz comments on the KAC banlist.... i think people should have a choice, but it is up to the plugin creator whether or not he is going to allow an option or not. if you dont like the options then mod his code to what you want (as it is your right to modify the source) or find some other plugin that suits your needs. dont put down something just becuase you dont like how it is coded when the source code is open to the public for editing. <-- just my simple thoughts on that matter
