You should extend it to better calculations... like "buyzone" to "CT/T spawn" by detecting nearboy player spawns, also for CT/T near bombsite or CT near dropped bomb, CT near vip or CT/T near vip escape, CT/T near hostages and near hostage rescue zone, CT near escape zone... etc

And yes, you should hook SayText for chat messages and TextMsg for radio messages.

You said almost everything I wanted to suggest. Also add support for Hostage holding zone. For example when terrorists are near the hostages they say something there will be something like: Hostage hold zone.

Very good additions with "near dropped bomb" and "near hostages" messages.
+1 on the radio messages... (ONLY if would not interfere with "descriptive fire in the hole" plugin" - or integrate it in your plugin)

Much, much more effective thing with detecting zones by entities and not by having the whole map filled with "virtual boxes"
Very good idea. One more plus is that these zones are really the important part of radio messaging ( it's more important to hear for example player3 "Need Backup (near dropped bomb)" then any_player "Need Backup (Long)" )

Looking forward for the final version

Oh. and one last thing not to forget: can you make the message for the bomb targets to be BOMB TARGET 1 and respectively BOMB TARGET 2 ? (or simply X1 and X2)

and if nobody suggested it, a small message under the radar with the current zone
very useful in learning new maps

also great suggestions by Costin83 and Hunter-Digital

let's wait and see how it comes out

and as a plug-in made to help people orient themselves on maps you could also integrate this plug-in in it

and one more thing, make sure that when you make the radio message when player is killed is active has a cvar to activate or deactivate it, I on one hand don't want the dead guy to speak
