I have 64 fps in my server with 7/32 players why :S

Why config need to have 1000 fps or 512 :S

does your config currently have sys_ticrate 512? I think the default fps is only 60 for HLDS, so if you didn't set sys_ticrate in your server.cfg, you won't get more than that. And if your sys_ticrate 100, then it might only let you pull 64 with 7 people in it.

#1: fps_max is a SRDS command, so that doesn't do anything to your server
#2: sys_ticrate can only be 1000 at the maximum. I don't know what it does to set it at 10000. Maybe it ignores the entry altogether so you're back to the default of 60? Maybe it tries to get 10000 fps out of a server that can only get 1000 so it causes your server to use too much of its resources? I don't know, but try setting it back down to 1000 and see if it works.
#3: If you're still getting terrible fps, I'd start to think that mailkman is right - your computer just can't handle it. What sort of computer are you trying to run the server on? And is it a dedicated machine, or do you use it for other things as well?

Interesting.

But if his CPU can't even get him above 100, I'd definitely recommend NOT trying to exceed the HLDS limit of 1000 fps. Especially since anything over about 500 fps is COMPLETELY pointless. lol.

That's honestly what I was thinking too. It doesn't boost fps, it just outputs a boosted number in console some how...

But I really don't care if it's fake or not. Even if it were real, you're wasting an awful lot of computer resources to do something that doesn't matter at all - the difference between 500 and 1000 fps is so negligible: I can't even imagine how pointless it is to boost it up to 20000 or whatever.
