Mavericks install guide said to download a couple of perl modules. Honestly the whole guide isn't very clear... but regardless it wasn't specified if it was to be installed on the computer or on the server so I put it on my computer. I just located the perl mod installed on my server and installed the missing module and the error has been removed and now we get this when we run hlstats.pl

That's a good sign Phaiz, it means that the .pl file works, now try this(after you kill hlstats.pl): ./run_hlstats start

After we found the correct folder and installed the perl mod on the web server, it started working fine. If anything I think a more detailed install guide would prevent this from happening to other users.

1: Check the file permissions to write.
2: Then add into the autoexec.cfg file.

3:
log on
IP: PORT
or
log 1
IP: PORT

4: Finally, restart the daemon before.
5: Then, restart the server.
