It was not having its intended effect. Getting too focused on it wasn't really the point. Putting information like that under people's names just makes it a bragging game, like statistics or something. When people started putting "+k me" in their profiles, well something was wrong. The point of being here is discussion, if the forums were more about collecting trinkets or what not then karma was poorly done anyway.

If karma comes back it'll be in a much less conspicuous place.

Someone suggested we go back to having plugin ratings instead, I like that idea.

Now people only will get support from ~5% of all active people here in forums because noone will get karma for the support.
