Just a heads up:
  1. There's probably going to be a new version of this extension later today to deal with a memory leak.
  2. This extension doesn't work properly on Portal 2, CS:GO, DOTA 2, Blade Symphony, and Insurgency. These games use a different version of IEmitterSystemBase that isn't presently in its SDK. No word yet as to whether either this extension or the SDKs can be updated to work around this, although psychonic was looking into it.

OK, sorry it took so long... I updated the extension to use AMBuild and then compiled the new version using it.

Since the SDKs for CS:GO, DOTA2, Blade Symphony, and Insurgency were updated, this extension has been modified to work against the new versions of them. Still needs testing.

New version is in the first post, separated into Linux and Windows downloads because I'm lazy (I just zipped up the output of the package directory on my Windows and Linux build systems).

Unfortunately, I can't do ANY testing at the moment as my home (and thus gaming machine) is currently without power.

I've been avoiding updating this extensions because I thought I'd hear about it getting added to SDKTools or not by now.

I may release a new version soon with the fixes I made to the SDKTools version, including moving Precaching up into the GetGameSoundParams call.

A new version of this extension's code has been pushed into SM 1.7's SDKTools extension.

Commands are mostly the same, but precaching went away in favor of a new PrecacheScriptSound native.

This extension is officially obsolete and shouldn't be used.

As of git4544, these functions are now available in SM 1.6.1's SDKTools extension. Same rules apply as the 1.7 version mentioned above.
