Hi everyone,
First of all i wanna apologise for my poor English.
So i first time try create CS:GO server on VPS and i made it, i try joint to the server to test it and its work. My idea what create 1v1 arena server, but i read before start uploading plugins to my server i need two plugins( Metamod:Source and Sourcemod). So i dowloaded lastest version of both of thes. Extract files on windows and upload addons with cfg in my server with program WinSCP. And i try joint in the server again. And i cant. I always see the same screen connecting to server. Server status is okey, he showing on favorites. I try update server with command "app_update 740 validate" still the same problem. I hope someone can help me.

VPS on Linux and i download Sourcemod and metamod on Linux.
SourceMod: version 1.10 - build 6474
MetaMod:Source: version 1.10 - build 971

I found few guy with same problem on this forum, but peaple keep saying update SourceMod and MetaMod. But my version is lastest so what can i do now?

Still have this problem guys. Please i dont know what to do. I intall server so many time, but when i put sourcemod and meta. Nobody cannot connect to my server...... Stuck on connecting to server.

i check sv_lan its 0
i got to screen in putty.

Try get newer version (6478)
https://www.sourcemod.net/downloads.php?branch=stable

And upgrade files while server is shutdown.

If you can't shutdown server, it keeps reboot back:
- Find file ...addons/metamod.vdf, move file out from ...addons/ folder. Reboot server.
- Upgrade server files with new one. To not lose your settings, don't upgrade these:

• ...cfg/sourcemod/
• ...addons/sourcemod/configs/

- Move metamod.vdf file back in addons folder, reboot

Still same, sm plugin list and another commands say its 6478 right now. But still connecting to server..

Ok, and you are saying, when addons are disabled, you can connect ?
- Try move metamod.vdf file out from ...addons/ folder, this stop MM:S and SM loading.
Reboot server. Connect. ??


What are your current SRCDS launch parameters ?
- Dont show your TOKEN key!

I'm thinking and guessing, maybe server port get blocked, or changed...

I deleted metamod.vdf, reboot and its working right now.

What would happen if you remove
-net_port_try 1

?

You could try read logs

in ...cfg/autoexec.cfg

log on
con_timestamp 1
con_logfile console.log // don't leave this in long run, you could get GigaByte size log file

And you see more logs in ...addons/sourcemod/logs/
