Hey im really new to servers and amx/ amx x. Okay my problem starts here my friend wanted me to switch the server amx/ to amx x so i agreed. I went on the site followed the instructions downloaded amx x put it in my "mod" folder and i put a few plugins and copy/ pasted some stuff from amx to amx x (ie. the Admin thingy.cfg). To check if the switch worked i went on the server and typed in amx_alltalk 1 (a plugin i added) and it didnt work. So then i thought i probably have to delete amx for amx x to work. So i deleted amx and kept amx x but when i go on the server i still can't use any plugins i added to amx x, and amxmodmenu is the same exact thing as when i used amx (i did some stuff to amxmodmenu in amx x). So basically i guess im still running on amx? (correct me if im wrong) So i was wondering how do i get the server to run amx x? (i already have amx x in my ftp). Im really new to this stuff, ftp, amx x, etc.. so any help will be appreciated

Did you put it in the plugins.ini in MetaMod?

Yes i have plugins.ini in the metamod, i think it was there from amx though not amx x. Do i have to have plugins.ini from amx x? here:

for some reason all that did was take away admin? i still cannot use any plugins and now i cant use amxmodmenu?

You have to give yourself access rights using amxmodx/configs/users.ini.
