how do i get my amx plug-ins to work on amxx?

use the amx_compat module.

edit, modules.ini, remove the ";" from infront of it, then do a map change, and you should be good.

That's not a module, it's a plugin.


unseenghost: Do the same as he said above, but instead of the modules.ini edit the plugins.ini

so like i have the dookie one do i have to rename it dookie.amxx instead of dookie amx, now that i have amxx on server and not amx on it anymore

Hum,

If you want to use binary plugin, then put your .amx plugin in plugins/ folder (also 'dookie.amx' in plugins.ini file too) and enable 'amxmod_compat.amxx' in plugins.ini file.

Also you can try to compile .sma with amxx compiler without modifications.

does anyone know if the modx compiler will compile the amx version of the plug-in? i know the amxx version used to be on here but was taken off

how do i go about porting it then ive found alot of plug-ins from here that i like infact i think the dookie one is the only amx one i want to keep
