For anyone that wants to block a weapon long term, or doesn't mind restarting the server for effects to take place use the following method.

Edit the items.ctx file located in the scripts folder. Edit the item you wish to disable and replace everything in it with a cheat detector.
Since the cheat detector is supposed to delete itself after use it effectively disables that item but does not delete it since deletion is handled client side.
So don't edit both server side AND client side with this or your unlocks will get deleted!


I have attached example that blocks all unlock weapons. Txt version and compiled version.

I use the old version of "Unlock Replacer" because he had the option "sm_unlock_clock".

This option was clear in your new version ...
It will be possible to return it ?

From what I can remember, sm_unlock_clock was used to determine how long between each weapon check. The plugin currently checks weapons when they are created by the server and therefore a check timer is not needed.

So, in short, no.

Humm

If the lock was "force_a_nature" for example, if I took ammunition or if I die, the weapon back, and you can use at will ...

The script seems to check that when the player changes class.

Tried just by adding the new items to the tables defined, but looks like it makes the server crash when trying to restrict the new ones.

So, I've done this with the new unlocks and it seems to block the server from being listed in the server browser since TF2 thinks it needs to be updated. It's an excellent solution otherwise. Any ideas? If it isn't possible I'll just use a plugin once I update my Sourcemod.

Just tried this plugin unmodified and it crashes the server. Any word on an update? Our players are clamoring for it.
