Hi everybody !
Lately Valve has been update CSGO with new model animations . And my server getting very high choke 50%
Before, it was all good, no choke , low sv and var , but now it fucked up =.="

I'm running a 34 slots 128 tickrate server.
Some one pls help

You have a few options.

1. Contact VALVe and let them know. (Mailing List)
2. Reduce your tickrate to a lower value. (e.g. 64)
3. Adjust your rates until the choke subsides.
4. Check for any plugins that require updating or removal.

yes .. I'm updated latest sourcemod too.
Everything work fine before update but now always 20-50% choke

CHOKE appear when, either updaterate is too much or player rate is low to limit packets incoming.
So if people now use:
packetsize 1000 x updaterate 128 = sv_minrate 128000

try to find from net_graph next bigest packet size
for example 1500 x updaterate 128 = sv_minrate 192000
or 1500 x updaterate 64 = sv_minrate 96000

btw, running over 100 tickrate server is not meant to be host 30 players or more in public network, it's for lan games/matches

same here on 128 tick servers i had 80000 rate which is wrong i know, but with 80000 i had 0-8% choke. after a csgo update from september i have now 20-50% chocke with 80000 rate.

set your rates to 128000 and it should fix your high choke problem.

the latenz has been changed too since last update. its a bit higher.

fuck csgo updates.

Yes, it does.
Today this game send more data/info than before and any other game (maybe new models cause this)
If people want run 128tickrate server with lot of players, dont' cap/limit rate to 128000, set minimi rate
to 200000.
Other options are decrease updaterate or players slot.
But 128tickrate servers is more like to LAN games.

why anyone not mention, in csgo you can't raise rate above 128000 anymore ?
