I use spawn tools plugin to add more bots to many maps.

Some maps, like cs_siege i can only add 17 bots, but in dust2 i can add 20 bots.

my botprofile has 21 profiles that work flawlessly in dust2 and many other maps.
my gamemodes for my dedicated server are in place, with maxplayer 64.
if i add in cs_siege bots for both teams, then i have 20 max bots, but not if i add them in one team only.
Spawns are double checked to have 20 spawns each team.

what could possibly be the cause? is there some hardcoding in some maps that wont allow more spawns per team?

I'm not sure of your problem.

But when you create map, if you set spawn points too close each other or too close on ground, next time when level is loaded, those spawn points could be turn to error.
Only way see this is in your own game, sv_cheats 1;map_showspawnpoints
Green spawnpoints are working, red ones are error.

But when using server and plugins, you can't see those.

Maybe you need re-arrange spawn points, give more space.

Problem could be something else tough.

This actually worked, now it works! probably spawns were messed up i completely removed them
and added them again and they now seem to work just fine. Weird error! i feel like i had to try that first, but somehow i was skeptical about it. my bad.
