It seems you didn't understand BAILOPAN's post. It isn't the lack of staff to moderate that area, it is the communication barrier that the ML sections impose that prevents the staff from properly moderating the sections. With all the problems that are caused in that area, we cannot efficiently monitor it and when we try to do so, we spend more time trying to translate the posts than we should. No amount of additional staff will be able to compensate this as the communication barrier to the rest of the staff will still remain. There just isn't that many respectable people on this site that are willing to assist in the needed moderation of these sections.

Now, this doesn't stop these "communities" from creating other sites that are dedicated to that language, in fact there are others that already exist out there.

We're not after additional staff, it just isn't manageable.

As BAILOPAN said, the expected recourse is that interested members can fork off their own communities off-site for their own language.

why not?

I think with at least 5 active spanish moderators, it would be solved.

If one of moderators does something it's against to the forum, the others moderators (or members) can notice to Main Staff and solve it quickly.
If it's the same problem, but with a member, the spanish moderators can do what they see fit and then notify to the Main Staff.

Because the language barrier will still exist. The problems that occur in the ML section are too much to handle for anyone here (ie, the majority of the rule violations I have found occuring in those sections)

You would need a different site with a completely different set of rules and a full staff to properly control the Spanish section

I doubt even the current Moderators are following the common sense rules of moderating. What makes you think any new moderators will be able to confront the existing moderators? I know when I confronted one of them about something, he acknowledged me and listened to me for about a week before he went back to his old way.

Then why has none of them requested the access? All they needed was just OK from other staff members. But, now that the section has been closed, it doesn't matter anymore.

Why occurring? Because We haven't got needed staff.

Different site? No, this forum is perfect!

Yes, I'm talking about new full staff, but with the same rules.

I think the moderators of spanish forum never have changes from 4 years ago.

New moderators can be the solution, I meet spanish people might be moderators.
You can ask to lucas, and he can say you what members are suitable.

Because nobody said it was necessary to make a new spanish staff.

Maybe I'm wrong, but only maybe...

You can do this solution: search for a new staff (doing a thread for recruit) and when you have it, re-open the spanish forum to see how it would go.

If going well, have any problem. Going wrong, close it again.
