Looks like it's a bug, give this patch a shot.

I haven't tried new version, I must be sure that this time everything including group and map exclusion works great, just like I asked in the PM last week.

Hi Steell, i think there must be a very good reason for this order. But right now i have the following problem. In some of the map groups configs i have specified tf_bot_quota 10. But some maps like koth_badlands and cp_degroot_keep don't have nav files and i've set tf_bot_quota 0 in those map specific cfg's because i thought they were executed last. But it seems this is not the case. So my question is why this order and why not execute map.cfg as last?

Okies here's the new complete translation for version 3.

Is there any possible chance You'd need a polish translation of umc_rotation? I think that explaining everything to players it important, but I think that someone knowing no english won't come to a forum like this, so it might not be really useful.

btw. Can anyone confirm that group & map exclusion actually works?

EDIT: Also, I'm still concerned over the fact that there were two payload maps in a row; this shouldn't happen EVER if whatever module that's causing the map change has group exclude set to 1. Can I see your log of when that happened? I'm hoping it was just that an admin changed to the first payload map so UMC couldn't record what group it was (and thus exclude that group from the upcoming vote/map change).

This patch is the final nail in the coffin of non-working group exclusion. I promise.

I'm moving most of the documentation in "umc_mapcycle.txt" to the new Google Code Page I have set up for the project, so maybe once that's live I'd be interested in looking for translations.

I'm 99.9% positive that UMC3-beta6 with both patches installed has perfect working map and group exclusion.

It's mostly a matter of how specific each configuration is. "server.cfg" is obviously the most general, since it gets executed every map, no matter what. I decided that "mapname.cfg" is the second-most general because it defines a set of rules for a specific map. Since UMC can have the same map in multiple groups, the mapname.cfg file is useful for setting cvars for that map no matter what group it's in. Next up is the UMC Map Group "command," which sets cvars/executes commands specific to that group. Finally there is the UMC Map "command" which contains specific settings for that Map/Map Group combination, of which there can only be one.

I'll see if I can find a way to interleave the order so that it's "server.cfg" -> UMC Map Group Command -> "mapname.cfg" -> UMC Map Command, since that may make a bit more sense.
