Because it's an ever expanding community that supports the mod run by nearly all HL1 based servers? That and because it's awesome like that.

well you can't say HL1 based servers. It also supports HL2 based servers but in a different category

cause if it wasnt for amxx then im sure 1/2 or more of tthe people palyin cs 1.6 wouldnt be playin, cause ALOT of cs players dont play for fps, they play for surf soccer football deathhrun gungame and a bunch of other stuff.

and since its liek that, a ton of server owners want amxx.
