Hello. So if an item, let's say the classname info_tfgoal has a mdl keyvalue, can I use Orpheu to replace the default model value so that the default won't be precached or is that not possible for this kind of stuff? Thanks!

You can try to replace the model string, I think it may work.

I have already tried that but with no luck
Also how can I correctly replace player models with orpheu and precache the new ones, while also stopping the precache of the old ones. I heard that with value 0 old player models will be still precached.
Most likely that's because the model is not set from the engine, but rather from the map when it gets created, if no model is specified then it has no model, it's invisible so guess no way to do that with Orpheu

Use FM_KeyValue or pfn_keyvalue and replace the model there.

Test it. Create an entity and use the original model without precaching it. If the server crashes the model wasn't precached.
