I don't know if exploit works now.

But anyways, it's disturbing if you have someone on the server pressing all the time F to enable/disable flashlight. One player can press it once each 0.5sec, the server owner must have a control on that and this plugin allows him to have it.

This should be approved imo. I used to hate people spamming their flashlights all the time for several reasons:
  1. When they spam, they make sound. Making you unable to hear what you need to hear while gaming.
  2. As i said, they make sound, but not only for our team but also for the opposite team. Which means that the opposited team can hear where the spammer is. If you're next to him, you're dead aswell.
  3. Flashlight makes light (duuhhh) which allows the other team to see you much easier in dark places of a certain map. If you enable your flashlight once, the other team might not notice changing some stuff in the map, but if you spam it, it's obvious as hell where you are.
  4. Last reason: It's just annoying as ****

Cache get_gametime(), that's the only thing left for approval.

Possibly cache pcvar_reload_flashlight on round start if that value does not change during the round, no point in having it send another request to server when it isn't needed.

What about CSDM servers ? Where round start event is possibly never triggered.

And you can see that gametime check function prevents user to spam and get_pcvar_float is not called abusive.

I think is good enough as it is.

Caching cvars would be relevant in forwards called per frame, here is not the case.

@OP, simple plugin, but I guess it's fine. People seem to like it and there is no other plugin that does that.

Approved.
