Some ddos attacker told me they can shut down a server with a webserver flooder (doser) since the update 2 days ago.

Is there any solution out there for this?

Socket ProcessAccept Error: Too many open files
Socket ProcessAccept Error: Too many open files
Socket ProcessAccept Error: Too many open files
Socket ProcessAccept Error: Too many open files

Thats the Console Spam before it crashes.

Those guy tested it for me...seting ulimit -n doesnt help anything, it only takes a bit longer until the server crashes

btw: Game is CS:S

I have a good idea how he might be doing it.

Do you have firewall access on the server that your game server is hosted on?

Hi Kigen, yes of course. full root access

btw he can crash every server with his method, even if they have zblock, daf, smac or other counter measures aktive.

And thats the weird thing.

Block TCP connections to the game server.

This will block RCON. But you can make a whitelist for that.

Let me know if that stops it.
