for some reason I can't get 8 players in coop/survive

I got l4downtown2, multislots
When ever 4 joins, the 5th player cant join and we tried with steam, game, friend, and console join nothing works,

and its a gameserver at multiplay



and this is my server.cfg

Add this to server cfg
sm_cvar sv_force_unreserved "1"
sm_cvar sv_maxplayers "8"

Remove sv_maxplayers 8 sv_visiblemaxplayers 8 you can check out my server cfg here .

We got it working but in a strange way
we set the serverconfig as "survival" and then we create versus play with friends lobby in the game, and point it to the steam group server, and then all have to join the lobby before we start, and then when we start it, we end up with a 8 player survival game, but nobody can join after the game is started

could that be a only join trough lobby line I have to write in cfg and disable

You should able to join through group listing and online play let me know your server ip I'll try join the next time you play.

Amy one that want's a fix for MultiSlots should read this post #159 .
I got the fix working my servers .

I am using Krufftys Killers' version of Multislots (post 159) + the afkfix. Latest l4dtoolz and left4downtown2(no playerslots version).

Every time I spawn a bot with sm_addbot it will stay for a couple of seconds, then drop its weapon and disappear. Also wondering why the player always seem to spawn with a hunting rifle equipped.

Any hints?

Edit: Did another fresh install without Left4Downtown and its lobby plugin to see if it maybe conflicts with l4dtoolz but still the same. Even when only having l4dtoolz, multislots and the afkfix it won't work.

I'd use bebop or superversus instead but we really like to have a spawn bot command to add as many as we like, and all the other plugins seem to only spawn bots automatically when needed or a fixed amount of bots.

These don't require sm_cvar

Check the signature files ../sourcemod/gamedata/ for multislots and afkfix to make sure they use the same signatures as both use the TakeOverBot & SetHumanSpec sigs so these should be the same I inc mine below for reference.

Ditch downtown you don't need it with the plugins your using.

You do have rather a lot of cmds in your server.cfg
When any cmd is used with a default value then that cmd isn't required
example:
sv_cheats "0"
This is the default value and therefore not required, I would only use cmd's where I'm using alternate value ie: sv_cheats "1"
This is just a minor point but can help when trying to diagnose issues, as your not reading through irrelevant data. Keep it as simple as possible

Not sure why the bot comes equipped with hunting rifle always as weapons are randomly given:

You could always change the order to see if that will give you a more preferred weapon.
