I haven't tested it but the gamedata file has a signature for l4d2, so it should, if that signature is still valid.

In case someone still needs this plugin.
This plugin is obsolete, use l4d_vomit_trace_patch by Forgetest instead
-Fix Boomer's vomit being unable to pass through their teammates (ghosts as well).

As for now the signature of l4d_vomit_trace_patch is broken since yesterdays update. (linux)
Guess we have to wait for Forgetest to update gamedata
