EDIT:

K it works on INS, but some small issues...

The laser's starting point is like 2 feet away from the player's body, and from the player's point of view it looks as if it's coming out of his stomach.
When the player crouches, the laser doesnt crouch with him, it stays up in air, same thing when he is prone laying down.

Anyway to fix all these?

Yep same issue here it doesn't bothers me to much i like the plugin but a more realistic laser that comes from the actual gun would be nice

I'm actually doing some tests, trying to make the laser a bit smoother by using OnGameFrame().

If it gets me any decent result I'll leave the piece of code here for you Leonardo.

So does that mean you added the feature so that when player crouches the laser crouches with him?

Cool, please do share it, In insurgency when the player is standing and the laser is on, it looks as if the laser is coming out of his stomach (from his point of view) but when you look at the player from the side, it looks like its coming out of the gun which is right... Don't know why this is so.

And yeah fixing the lag with laser would be cool.

Also I had people give me a good suggestion.. since some complained. The laser gives away your position so.. is it possible to create a menu with having laser option 1 and laser option 2? Such as this..

Hope thats a good fast illustration, basically, the first option is the laser gets cut off, basically its a short laser and then there is a dot where the player is pointing at, so that its not one huge laser giving away your position.

Second one is the regular laser as is.

Third one is just a dot that shows up wherever the player is pointing at, so if the player is 5 feet away from a wall and points to it, all you see is a red dot on the wall.

Any of these possible?

to prone laying down laser must be maked by an engine, not by a script)
0.1 sec is minimal time of timers/beams_lifeTime

laser and dot as aim of RocketLauncher in hl2 ?

updated. but now we have a 3-5 lasers Oo lifeTime 0.1 sec, if lowest, then they never be removed. and what can do with ducking?

I thought I'd elaborate better on my previous post about the laser options..

Leonardo, could you make the lasers appear like they do on L4D2? I would love if I could get those type of lasers on our server.
