I'm lookin for a plugging that will make the clients name appear over there head ingame. I want it for my surf server so when there really far away and putting my X hair over them doesnt make there name show up. I want the name over head to get bigger, so the farther away they are, the bigger it is = readable at any distance. Could this be made so only admins see the names?

no.
only way is displaying text a little above the center of the screen with their name but that will always be static and if u get really close to a person it will be probably on his face or if far away itl be far above his head

Hey nice idiea, isnt it possiple to make it like in DoD, players in your teams got an sprite over them, but instead many sprites, the sprites are lietters, the longer name, the more sprites????

ya this is possible in dod and in cs. Only thing is if you use sprites your in for ALOT of downloads (i'm not a coder though and therefore know very little on whats possible or not)

That would be a pain in the ass. Using sprites, and I'm guessing, you would need to make a sprite for EVERY character or symbol that you can use for a name in cs or dod. Then you have to make it so it shows all sprites that the player's name has.

I would enjoy making this if I knew how to make sprites andhave them show up.

i will do it , cuz i have nothing to do, exept preparing for tryouts . i got the program and evrything... i only want to know what size im supposed to do it on, i know that max size is 256X256 and i know that it has to be divisible by 8. most of the sprites i saw were 32X32 or 64X64, i think 32 is pretty good or even big for 1 letter or number or caracter.. for now iw ill start with 32, shoudnt be hard to make them smaller

k finished doing all of them with ps cs2, made them 32X32, 32 bit, all letter caracter and number, in black, white background( was wondering what kind of background we need?? invisible? anyway, i also want to know if i need to need also the small letter? i aonly did with caplock... easy to do the others.. i made 26 letter, 10 number and 32 caracter for a total of 68. took me about 30 min... not that long with my hotkey and fast hand . know i have to make them .spr, but befor, can someone answer ther?? cuz befor converting them ,i want your suggestion.....

Unfortunately, I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish. Making each letter a sprite and then arranging them or something?
