so i just download the amxx file n put it where the other one is and wat do i do with the sma file? ill be back on later im goin 2 skool now.

Well I was trying to compile it / do what you told him to do w/ the changing of the name, and I couldn't find it for amxx on the website

exactly... and change plugins.ini so instead of:

say_hlstats_for_steam.amx

it should be:

say_hlstats_for_steam.amxx

yes... i understand the .sma that is being needed for compiling... but why does he need to post the .amx file?
change name on a plugin doesent work, i think... (but i have actually done that... on my old amx server i had loads of heros that i couldnt find for amxx so i just added anx extra x in the filename... ( b4 i knew what compiling was ) ) you have to change includes...

Replace the original .sma you had with the one you downloaded -
@black rose - I tried compiling it myself but no go, adding the extra x won't hurt

its not needed to put sma anywhere... but its smart to save it... so when new version of amxx u dont have to look for it again...
