You haven't answered my question regarding the hlds build. Moreover, i don't have problems neither with crashes nor with unstabilities with the beta version. I just want to know if there is a newer build than the one i mentioned above.

If no one tries a beta and they push it to a "stable" build and it turns out that there's a huge error in it, whose fault is it?

I just update hlds via SteamCmd without beta. The build number is 6132, so i can say this is current public release for now.

So based on your position, if no one tries beta version nobody will confirm that beta has bugs or it's ready to be released.

That's the spirit of allowing users to use beta versions, to help in advance for future releases.

Valve has a tendency to run hlds betas for a long time, even when they have important bugfixes...

...or if they're for the SteamPipe update. Seriously... tfc, dmc, and the like are STILL in Beta for that, like they have been since... February?
