Hello everyone,

I am a bit confused right now.

I have updated sourcemod to the newest verison (1.8.0.5981), but when i use sm version, it shows me 1.9.0.5983. I have followed whole upgrade guide (https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Upgrading_SourceMod). It doesnt matter, which sourcemod i download, because that 1.9.0 shows always.

Any ideas what causes this?

Well, yes, I've restarted server several times, but it has no effect. Still showing 1.9.0.

You're not overwriting the files or not uploading the correct files.
You should ALWAYS stop the server before uploading any files to overwrite.
A simple resolve would be to remove the sourcemod folder entirely and upload the installation you want.

Bad idea.

1) Turn server off
2) Move over files
3) Turn server on

I have done that like 10 times already.

Followed every single step that is in https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Upgrading_SourceMod, but I still have(atleast the "sm version" says that I have) 1.9.0.5983.

Then it's not being overwritten.
You either have a setting set to skip, do not modify if same size, do not have sufficient permissions to modify, or something of that result.

Delete the sourcemod folder, or delete the bin folder, extensions, and all the default sourcemod plugins.
