I've been looking into the source sdk and realized that valve actually did make all these games backwards compatible!
1.) Multiplayer!
2.) Server is still CS:S, but moves players into HL2DM, with their CS:S Guns still enabled!
4.) See backwards compatible, you can verse 1.6 players, while still having your graphical goodness!

So it is client side only (models, maps, etc). Is the script client side only or are you saying that it is server side only and a server running it allows multi-compatible versions to be ran on the same game/server,etc?


*Kingpin, you can't sell a product without describing what exactly it is or requires. Otherwise there would be no way for a person to know before hand that he doesn't need it.
