Thank you for answering! Unfortunately, I still get the same error while ingame, but the plugin does compile fine. I don't get any errors when I use precompiled vscript.smx that you packaged with the plugin. Judging by the compile date, is it possible that the VScript plugin you provided might be slightly outdated? Difference between GitHub sources and vscript.smx appears to be around 1 month.

I tried the original plugin a year ago and I thought the bots were simply unbeatable. I might be wrong about that.

Your fork is great, on realism expert it's easier to play with your bots than most people, lol. Thanks for the great job you've done
I only use 1 plugin that affects bot behavior - Bot Healing Values, so they don't heal early.

Here are a few weaknesses I've noticed playing with your bots on official campaigns on realism expert:
They still often get into fire (molo/gascan) and get burned alive.

1 tank can still catch up to the bots and take them out one by one, even if there is plenty of kite space.

Often during a horde, bots will still try to pick up an incapacitated player, allowing themselves to be surrounded on all sides by common infected, instead of fighting back first and then safely helping the incapacitated.

Thanks for sharing your configs and plugins. I didn't know that workshop works can be installed on a dedicated server and I didn't find instructions on how to do it in Left 4 Bots 2 repository.

Make sure when you installed/updated VScript that you copied the new/updated vscript.inc file to the left4dead2\addons\sourcemod\scripting\include directory.

On a CLIENT system, subscribe to the workshop mod like normal. Copy the VPK file(s) that mod adds (hint: sort the workshop directory by date/time) to your SERVER system. I put L4B2, L4L, and NavFixes in the "addons" directory of my server. I also have a "workshop" directory under the "addons" directory on the server, but I only put custom campaigns in there. You can also create a shared directory between your CLIENT and SERVER so the server is always updated when the client is updated by the workshop, but I did not want to do that because I do not want all of the same content from my client on the server.

Great! Can you also add a way for bots to only pick up grenade launchers and chainsaws if it's their last option? Like for example, they will pick up grenade launchers if they do not already have a primary weapon or have run out of ammo. And for chainsaws, only if they have single pistols/dual pistols/magnum, regular melee weapons take priority. I also thought about the bots prioritizing the best melee weapons like axes over pitchforks.

I usually don't like them using those weapons, unless it's the only thing they got. Thanks.

I do not know what was causing your crashes or mine. What I do know... on my Windows 10 Intel Xeon E3-1245 V5 server this plugin was unstable and constantly generated errors/crashes, and on my Ubuntu 22.04 AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D server this plugin is very stable and does not produce a single error/crash.

Make sure you downloaded VScript from:
https://github.com/FortyTwoFortyTwo/...ns/10649893782
(Note: You must be logged into your GitHub account to download)

Make sure you copied:

vscript.inc to the addons/sourcemod/scripting/include directory
vscript.txt to the addons/sourcemod/gamedata directory

Extract those files from VScript-1.8.6.81.zip if you are not sure and copy them again.
