I would like to suggest a new command for this plugin. Maybe this can be done with mani and the cron listing, but I think it would be more efficient from the plugin itself.

I would like to specify how many bots are in spec each time players enters or leave the server, up to a maximum defined by the current command fakeclients_players.

i.e. I set fakeclients_players at 20, but I want to see only 2 bots in spec from 0 to 18 players, instead of having 20 bots in spec ...


Is the source code still available for this plugin ?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. You want it to change from 20 players total to just adding 2 players to the total?

Something like bot_quota_mode except that it changes modes when people join?

I have a question please LDuke about Fake client on a DoD:S Server. I've had my hosting company disable my fake client plug in as they have indicated it was causing massive CPU problems. Now what I find so strange is we have both a DOD:S and a CS:S server both on the same hardware box. Both run Fake Clients and they did not disable the CS:S fakes but they did the DOD:S.

Has anyone seen a hardware problem with DOD:S or do I tell my hosts to go fix their hardware and re-enable my fakes?

Any input would be appreciated Thanks.

FakeClients checks the number of players occasionally, but it shouldn't be doing anything that would cause much additional CPU usage.

Anyone know if this still works for dod source. I added it to my server today and it kept restarting.

I also tried this on a freshly installed css server, same results the server wont stay up

Tried converting it to windows format with notepad++ as suggested, no luck. getting the same problem

It should work fine still. It's running on lots of DODS and CSS servers, as well as other mods such as empires and dystopia: http://www.game-monitor.com/search.p...&type=variable

When using CSS Deathmatch the server crashs everytime the fakeclients want to join. As soon as the first fakeclient joins the server restarts.
