No, this checks only YOUR sourcebans database...

Would it be possible to make a extra addition to this? Checking if the IP of the person is banned and issue a warning too?

We get more and more f2p cheaters and if it could warn admins ingame about a possible new f2p account of the same person that would be a nice addition.

Yeah this works out really well.. I too wouldn't mind having a sound effect of your choice added such as a ding since sometimes I may not be looking at the chat area of the screen and doing something else when someone enters.

Also If you are running multiple servers and someone joins one of the others can an addition be made to still prompt you but prompt you with the notice of something like this:


[SBChecker] Warning: Player NameHere has X previous SB bans on record Entered [Name of Server].

Figured it should be possible since it is pulling from the same database.

It is pulling, but not writing any info back which the other server might read. So you can't have it display on multiple servers the way it works now.

I would like to see this feature as well if you have time.

I would like to bring up the topic once mentioned just to see if you would change your mind.
It was mentioned about adding a sound when a previously banned players enters. possibly add in the admin menu for the admins to disable the sound on there computer if they rather not hear it or just a cvar to turn on or off the sound in the cfg.
Sometimes when on the server you may not notice a say message if they enter and there are other messages scrolling.

I was looking at the post about how to add this command to the admin menu by using adminmenu_custom.txt file.

It suggested the following be added:

So -- what I did was opened said file and pasted the above in. However, after a server restart, the admin menu has not changed. I admit not being very experienced. What might be the issue?
