The DODS people dont mind it, its just players dont realize that it controls the spam and having sentry farms that make it impossible for blue to win, or have lots of engis on blue that arent needed.

Yeah the thread got locked in the end. I suggested it because it'd be a much better system since it'd be integrated into the Source engine itself.

I'm back from my vacation and working on a new version, but I can't reproduce what chundo is saying. joinclass only fires for me when the player_changeclass event fires, so I will stick with equip until I find a better solution.

Edit: hmm, for some reason equip doesn't always fire either. I'm confused...

Well, the important thing is that it fires when they change class or join a class initially right? You don't need to update anything if they change to the same class.

I'd still recommend just losing the running tally so you don't have to worry about capturing every class-change scenario, which seems to be hit-and-miss right now.

Update

Alright, it should actually work now, but I won't have time anymore today to thoroughly test it. Will do it tomorrow. I'm actually surprised it got so many views and it's running on so many servers, seeing it didn't work very well. Sorry about that

I got rid of the running tally chundo was talking about, and I'm hooking joinclass instead of equip. Everything seems to be fine now. Will add the requested features later.
