when you are out of ammo the hud of the weapon turns red, right? so when you drop that empty gun, it dissapears automatically or in X seconds defined for a cvar.

is too much hard to do this?

Do you want to remove the empty weapon from the player,
remove the empty weapon from the ground after he dropped it,
or remove the hud ?

Been thinking about this, but i didn't find a good way to get the ammo yet.

A weapon does not have backpack ammo, only clip ammo.
The backpack ammo is stored on the player, so an empty gun for 1 player may not be empty for another player.

Maybe we could remove a weapon from a player when he's out of ammo ?
